Turtle Beach today announced the availability of the newest addition to its Ear Force line of gaming headsets - the Ear Force X1.
These amplified headphones give serious gamers a competitive edge by combining Xbox Live chat and stereo game audio into an immersive sound experience. Featuring a wired configuration between the headphones and the game console, the integrated design overcomes the limitation of communicator headsets, which block game sound from one ear, and also eliminates voice chat interference caused by traditional headset microphones picking up sound from external speakers.

The Ear Force X1 headphones are powered via USB, and feature a durable microphone with an adjustable boom that can be moved to any preferred position for precise placement, or away from the gamers’ face in between battles.
