AudioTron - FAQs

Characters other than ASCII (Naming Conventions)
Q: Is the unit's display capable of displaying characters other than ASCII?
In particular I'm interested in Cyrillic letters.

A: The AudioTron display uses the standard Latin ASCII characters. It does
not support other characters. To be on the safe side it's best to use
ASCII characters 32 - 125: blank, digits, alphabetic characters and
!"#$%&'()*+,-./:;<=>?@[]^_`{|} (no, I'm not swearing :-)

It also handles most foreign and accented characters by displaying a
character that looks similar. Eg. instead of "?" it displays "e".

Q: Does the AT support the ISO Latin-1 character set? How about for the
Web Interface?

A: Sort of -- it doesn't have all the characters on the front panel
display but it uses the closest equivalent. As for the Web Interface,
it should work fine.
