Q: I have a windows XPPro system that was working great. I have made a couple of network changes, including upgrading to XP SP1 and I can no longer access my music file shares. The audiotron has complete access/correct passwords, and can see other computers on the network. I get this error code on EVERY share on this particular computer. Share file error code 8 error string: "Not enough storage is available to process this command" It seems like the AT gets permissions, but for some reason cannot browse.
A: Figured it out. As it turns out the problem had nothing to do with my network card or the Audiotron.
I had added Acronis Trueimage (a great imaging program btw) to my XPPro computer, and it appearantly adds some "filters" to Microsoft Lanman Server, pushing it over the filter limit.
Raising the limit fixed it... That said, I have no idea what any of what I just wrote means. The problem and fix was described in the Acronis FAQ in case anyone else runs into this.
