Linux - Samba - "Mandrake" security - Songs do not play
This is a Mandrake Linux strong security issue that may prevent the AT from
accessing a share on a Linux server playing files.

SYMPTOM:
The AT starts up, scans the host for songs and finds them - so you know that
the authentication and access to the server is working. However, the AT will
not play any songs nor will anything show in the log file after the original
scan. You may receive host down messages on the AT.

This may also happen with 'servers' that "went to sleep". When the AT is
turned on, it pings the server to wake it up. If it does not get a response,
it thinks that the server is down.

RESOLUTION:
Change the value for:
net.ipv4.icmp_echo_ignore_all in /etc/sysctl.conf from 1 to 0.
