Sound Blaster emulation - How do I disable?
1. Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties. 
2. Click on the Device Manager tab.
3. Double-click on "Sound, video and game controllers" to open that section.
4. Double-click on "Sound Blaster Pro Emulation".
5. Check the "Disable in this hardware profile" box.
6. Click [OK].
7. Reboot if prompted to.
8. The next time you reboot, Sound Blaster emulation will be disabled
(both in Windows and in Real Mode DOS).
