NOTE: Make sure that you do not mistake the yellow video RCA for the white audio RCA. If you swap them  accidentally, you won't hear anything on the left channel (white) because  it's a video signal.

1. Test procedure for all analog stereo headsets - using a PC, MP3/CD player:
       a) If your headset has one, connect the USB cable to a USB power source, such as a PC or powered-on game console.  An LED will light up to show the headset is powered.
     b) Plug the green plug from the headset into the MP3/CD player's headphones jack.
     c) Play a music track that you know pretty well.  Listen for any distortion, missing audio, or other problems in the playback.

- If it works there, then you need to replace the audio splitter cable (red/white RCAs).

- If however it does not work with the MP3 player, then the Headset is defective and it should be replaced. Click here to fill in the warranty claim form for service through our Support staff.

2. Test procedure for all analog stereo headsets (for OneSideBad issue) via RCA swap:
Where the red and white RCA plugs from the game console connect to the red and white RCA jacks on the headset audio input cable:

For this test of your stereo splitter cable, all you need to do is reverse how the red and white RCA audio connectors are attached to other devices.  To do this, simply make sure that your red plugs (male) are all connected to white jacks (female), and the white plugs should similarly be connected to red plugs.

So when the installation would normally go "White -> White -> White" and "Red -> Red -> Red",

it will now go "White -> Red -> White" and "Red -> White -> Red"

Once you have it hooked up this way, play sound from your game console and listen in the headset.  If the problem switches sides in the headset, then the RCA cables need to be replaced. If the sound still only comes from the same side, then the cables are OK but the speaker that is not making sound is dead.
