This indicates that the SCSI ID for the CD-R drive or the SCSI host adapater is set to an incorrect value. (For SCSI, each device must have its own unique ID.)
Verify that the adapater is set to ID 7: 1) From DOS-only mode, run "cfg5140.exe" included on the CD Master installation diskette. 2) Find the Host SCSI ID section. Make sure the value is set to 7. 3) Write the changes and exit.
If you are still having a problem, the SCSI ID for the Ricoh drive is not set correctly. The SCSI ID for the drive is set by jumpers on the back of the unit. See 'Jumper Settings for SCSI ID number' for details. |
