If you have your PS3 connected to your TV through HDMI...

For STEREO headsets:
-  Go to Settings > Sound Settings > Audio Output Settings
-  Change HDMI to Audio Input Connector/SCART/AV MULTI.
-  This will set the audio output to play through the PS3 AV Multi connector cable (and on to the headset), instead of to the HDMI port (and the TV speakers).
-  To play the sound through just your TV speakers set the audio output back to HDMI.

For SURROUND SOUND headsets:
-  Go to Settings > Sound Settings > Audio Output Settings > Optical Digital.
-  Make sure Dolby Digital 5.1 Ch. is checked. Also, make sure DTS 5.1 Ch. is NOT checked.
-  This will set the audio output to play through the digital optical cable (and on to the headset), instead of to the HDMI port (and the TV speakers).
-  To play the sound through just your TV speakers set the audio output back to HDMI.

For STEREO and SURROUND SOUND PS3 headsets:
-  If you would like game audio to output through both HDMI and to your headset at the same time, then go to Settings > Sound Settings > Audio Multi-Output, and turn this feature ON.

If you still don't hear game audio after checking the settings above:
-  A wireless headset needs to be paired to its transmitter: Pairing Instructions
-  For surround sound headsets, make sure you connect the digital optical cable to the Turtle Beach "Digital In" jack (not Digital Out).
-  When connecting a stereo headset to a PS3 while using HDMI, you must also use the PS3 AV Cable that came with your PS3. Connect your Turtle Beach RCA Splitter Cable to the white/red plugs of the PS3 AV cable. As an alternative, you can plug your Turtle Beach RCA Splitter Cable directly to the TV's Audio Output jacks. Note that some TVs only have Audio Input jacks, but no Output jacks. For this PS3 HDMI setup, connecting your headset to the HDTV's Input jacks will not work. (Setup diagrams can be found in your user guide.)
