Yes, slide cancelling is going to be possible in Black Ops 6, and Treyarch have spoken on this, noting it'll be thanks to the new omnidirectional movement engine.
More advanced maneuvers that take a modicum of skill to pull off are also part of Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and designed to ensure fast-paced and fluid combat.
