Black Ops 7 Season 2: All New Maps Coming

Black Ops 7 has been progressing smoothly since it was released, and while it does feel like other games have stolen the spotlight as of late, there is still anticipation around the new season.

Season 2 is now here, and we're going to run over all of the new maps coming this season, and more information about them.

      Here's what we know.

Black Ops 7 Season 2: All New Maps Coming

A new COD season means a ton of new content is about to be released for players, as we're once again in store for new weapons, maps and game modes.

New maps are rather common for each new COD season, and this time around is no different as some classics from BO2 and other previous games will be returning in Season 2.

All of the new maps are as follows:

      Torment (Launch)

      Brand-New, 6v6, Small-Sized

The tendrils have taken hold and blood rains from the sky in Torment, a new small-sized Multiplayer map. Atwood is at work here, attempting to extract C-link data, and created this “Torment”; a mix of David Mason’s memories and fears. Guild crates and shipping containers hang suspended in the air and tangled up in the sprawling root system, while glimpses of a chemical staging lab, quarantine signs, and hazardous materials suggest that there may be more than meets the eye in this hellish place.

Scale the Bloodfalls and enter a portal into the Basin, a blood-soaked arena branching off toward other portals transporting Operators to the center. Ambush and flank enemies on the other side and use the map’s plentiful cover points to defend against enemies attempting the same.

      Sake (Launch)

      Brand-New, 6v6, Medium-Sized

Fight now, celebrate later as Operators deploy to a Japanese sake factory in this mid-sized map featuring a Production facility, Depot, and Steaming Room. Visitors to the factory can learn about the brewing process through intricate Displays and within the Exhibit, with a Bar upstairs for thirsty patrons.

The various facilities are scattered across the open grounds, including a Loading Dock, an extensive Zen Garden, and a Roundabout entryway, creating pockets of conflict erupting throughout the map. Use your intel to pinpoint the hot zones and get in there to show them who’s boss.

      Nexus (Launch)

      Brand-New, 6v6/2v2, Small-Sized

Battle erupts in David Mason’s hallucination of a subzero testing facility where TVs with a red static signal are lodged into the ice. As Victoria Atwood tortures Mason’s mind to extract his C-Link data, this twisted vision takes shape in his psyche.

Navigate the nearby Cells where prisoners are held or head into the Tunnel and Mine giving entry to the underground facility. The nearly symmetrical map features an outer perimeter that loops around the central operation; use the available inroads to move between here and the outer loop, cutting down enemy combatants along the way.

      Slums (Launch)

      Remaster, 6v6, Medium-Sized

The fan-favorite Slums Multiplayer map first seen in Black Ops 2 returns! Duke it out around the central Plaza, one of the most iconic Multiplayer map locations in the Black Ops series, adjacent to the infamous Electronics chokepoint providing cover in a tight space at a meeting point between the middle and bottom lanes.

Engage in fierce urban combat across Upper Street and Lower Street or take to the top lane and ambush enemies from the Garage and Shops. Highly regarded by both casual and competitive players, Slums offers a true test of skill, no matter what your playstyle.

      Torque (Mid-Season)

      Brand-New, 6v6, Small-Sized

Get into a high-speed foot chase on this map that recalls The Battle of Los Angeles in Black Ops 2. Fight along the main road, using the stranded vehicles along the way for cover, while looking for Wall Jump opportunities across huge slabs of rubble and freeway twisting up into the air.

Enter the Acropolis National Bank to engage in close quarters combat or traverse the thin ledge behind it to access the slanted roadway with overturned vehicles acting as platforms to help jump across a gaping chasm. In this surreal landscape, anything goes. Be ready for it.

      Cliff Town (Mid-Season)

      Remaster, 6v6, Medium-Sized

Overlook is a tightly packed urban Multiplayer map, first seen in Black Ops 2 as “Yemen,” now reimagined as a cliffside Avalon town while keeping the original map’s legacy intact. Expect a blend of narrow alleys with elevated vantage points and tight chokepoints, rewarding both aggressive pushes and savvy positioning. Its central crevasse and surrounding structures create dynamic combat spaces where SMGs, ARs, and sniper lines overlap, making every flank and rooftop fight memorable.

      Mission: Peak (Mid-Season)

      Brand-New Skirmish Map, 20v20

Gear up for a brand-new 20v20 Skirmish map bringing more large-scale confrontations to Multiplayer. Work to claim High Value Sectors dotted throughout the narrow medieval streets with a central, snaking road to navigate across, watching for snipers nestled across the terracotta tile rooftops. Around half of the perimeter is waterlogged, offering aquatic opportunities courtesy of the available Tactical Rafts, small harbor, and fishery warehouses on the lower rocky ground, below the main medieval settlement where deadly house-to-house combat rages.

      Grind (Mid-Season)

      Returning from Black Ops 6, 6v6, Medium-Sized

First seen in Black Ops 2, the legendary skatepark returns with the Mid-Season update. Take the fight inside the park and pro shop, or head outdoors to the expansive skate bowl and halfpipe, where open sightlines and vertical movement create constant opportunities. Use ramps and elevation to outplay opponents, chain together stylish eliminations, and pull off highlight-worthy plays, especially as this map benefits from a variety of Wall Jump opportunities across areas you’d normally clamber through.

      Firing Range (Mid-Season)

      Returning from Black Ops 6, 6v6, Small-Sized

The classic Firing Range map returns in its Black Ops 6 form, entering the Black Ops 7 map pool with Wall Jumps available for the first time. Expect heavy crossfire along the central Road as Operators battle for control of key vantage points, including the Tower and the upper levels of the Shoot House and Garage. Moving targets glide along their tracks behind the Office and in several other locations, offering a brief distraction while setting up your next engagement. For a less direct approach, break away from the center and head down the Dirt Road, staying alert for ambushes as you pass the Storage unit on the way through.
