Deadlock has been Valve's worst-kept secret since the closed beta became public during the Summer of 2024.
Now, the Old Gods, New Blood update has arrived and Valve has allowed players to vote on who the next hero will be.

How To Vote For New Characters In Deadlock
Deadlock is the latest game from Valve, and much like their other titles, this one is diving into a category they aren't specifically known for, which is MOBAs.
Valve has been consistently adding new characters into Deadlock, and now there are six new ones coming to the game, and they're letting us, the players, decide the order in which they'll be released.
Players will be able to vote in-game, via their hideout, as there is a voting table to the left of the matchmaking orb.
You'll be able to gain votes via playing Standard or Street Brawl matches, with your first win of the day granting you an additional four votes.
