We’re entering the conclusion of the 17th season of League of Legends, and this all this said, it doesn’t appear Riot is going to stop anytime soon with the patches.
Demacia will be the theme of 2026, and Riot has already announced all of their planned patches for the year.

League of Legends 2026 Patch Schedule: All Planned Updates For 2026
Since adopting the seasonal model, League of Legends has drastically changed its game, as it has experimented with unique features over updates.
Now, 2026's initial launch will be one with an ample amount of changes, as not only is Summoner's Rift getting some changes; but the new role quests are certainly going to shake up the game.
