Mewgenics is the first game of 2026 to really come out of nowhere and immediately become an instant success.

Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel are the two focal point developers behind Mewgenics, with the former being best known for their work on The Binding of Issac and Super Meat Boy.
Now, this new and outright wacky game has released, and it's quickly taken over Steam thanks to the unique aspect of raising a cat army!
This new tactical turn-based game is certainly going to attract some heads, and if you're wondering if the game offers multiplayer, then you're out of luck for the time being.
As of now, Mewgenics only features single-player, and we'll be sure to update this page if we hear more in the coming weeks.
