GTA Online typically updates every week on a Thursday at roughly 10am BST. This isn’t the case on very rare occasions, but normally, it is only when major updates or expansions are released.
However, today is an exception, as the game has now deployed the annual Winter update, and there’s a ton of content within, including a brand new weapon for players to otbain.

How To Get The Battle Rifle in GTA Online Winter Update 2023
The brand new Winter update is here for the end of the year, and players will be able to check out The Chop Shop update from now, December 12, up until the New Year.
So, with the holiday season here, players have around 2-3 weeks to check out all the new content.
In terms of how players will be able to obtain the battle rifle, you’ll simply need to head over to the Gun Van, which changes location each day.
Once here, head over to the weapons category and select the battle rifle, and purchase it!
