Overwatch 2 most recently showcased some of the features coming to their game in the coming months at the annual Blizzcon.
With heroes such as Venture being teased for Season 10, Mauga will join the crew in Season 8, but before this, Blizzard has added a new event called Catch up with Mauga.

Overwatch 2 ‘Catch Up with Mauga’ Event: Rewards, Bonus XP and More
The brand new event is going to take place now until the new season releases during the beginning of December, as this aims to give players a little additional XP before the season ends.
Furthermore, players will be able to earn some bonus items such as a new Spray with Mauga featured, alongside some other cosmetic rewards. The event is going to end on November 28, so players will have just a week to earn the extra 37,500 XP.
With Mauga being the new hero in Overwatch 2, Blizzard has already buffed the hero as players noticed he was quite weak during the trial weekend that they held.
