Escape From Tarkov is the hardcore extraction shooter that fits a perfect niche within the gaming community, and fans have adored the title for quite some time now.
Now, with a brand new wipe in the works, BattleState Games has showcased some of the features coming in EFT during the December 2023 wipe.
Here’s one of them, vaulting.
Escape From Tarkov Showcases Vaulting Ahead of December Wipe
Tarkov typically has its wipe every six months or so, with the last one occurring back in August, 2023; so at first glance it appears to be a bit early for a brand new Tarkov wipe, this time it is a special circumstance.
Players have long awaited the arrival of EFT’s deathmatch mode, and they’ve been testing the mode throughout the year, and alongside the deathmatch mode coming in this wipe, is some brand new forms of movment.
While Tarkov can feel a bit clunky at times, this new movement mechanic, vaulting, should come in handy when trying to get over certain ledges, to snag some loot.
We assume this is going to drain your stamina in-game, so it should only be used in certain scenarios, but we’re happy with the changes coming to the game this far.
