ARPGs have been all the rave as of late, and with the release of Diablo 4 back during 2023, players are now wanting something new, and the full release of Last Epoch is right up your alley if that is the case.
Players are amped to dive into the game, and with 1.0 releasing, there’s also going to be a brand new class for players to check out in the form of the Warlock.
Here’s what you need to know.
Last Epoch Warlock Class Overview: Talents, Skills and More
Last Epoch is another game similar to Diablo 4 and Path of Exile, but the difference here is the amount of roles players can pick and choose from while playing.
With numerous playstyles and sub-classes, the Warlock is going to be one of the masteries for the Acolyte class, and players will get to sample the following abilities.
- Chtonic Fissure
- Tear open a fiery fissure in the ground, releasing vengeful spirits that curse and torment your enemies
- Chaos Bolts
- Unleash a barrage of chaotic fire and necrotic projectiles
- Ghostflame
- Spew a gout of necrotic and fire energy in the target direction
- Soul Feast
- Feast on the souls of cursed enemies, dealing necrotic damage to them and drawing fragments of their souls back to bolster your defenses
- Profane Veil
- Transform into an ephemeral fog of cursed energy
Eleventh Hour Games has noted the following on the Warlock class.
Abilities such as Chaos Bolts and Cthonic Fissure enable the Warlock to fight from range. Profane Form may be used as an escape skill or an aggressive skill by granting it synergies for passing through enemies, either applying or reacting to applied debuffs. Soul Feast functions well at mid-range.
Abilities such as Ghostflame and Profane Form enable the Warlock to enter close combat range, to apply debuffs and high-risk, high-reward levels of damage.
