Dead By Daylight Best Demogorgon Build (2022)

What is the best Demogorgon build in Dead by Daylight? Hopefully, this guide will help get to the bottom of that question as well as giving players all the information they need to help elevate their skills with the DLC killer from the Stranger Things Chapter.

Further down we’ll cover off the standard perks and powers for the killer as well as the perks we would opt for when trying to assemble the best Demogorgon build in Dead By Daylight. Naturally, this is subjective and we’ll always attempt to keep this page updated as new chapters and major updates are released.

The Demogorgon Power & Perks

The Demogorgon killer has three unique perks that can be unlocked for other killers via the Bloodweb.

Alternatively, you can also unlock them via the games Shrine of Secrets.

We’ve detailed everything you need to know about these 3 main perks, just below.

Perk Description
Surge
(unlocked at level 30 in Bloodweb)
(*This perk has been retired)
Your eerie presence charges the air and interferes with technology.

When you put a Survivor into the Dying State with your Basic Attack, all Generators within 32 metres of you instantly explode and start regressing.

  • Applies an immediate 8 % Progression penalty.

Surge has a cool-down of Several Seconds.

Cruel Limits
(unlocked at level 35 in Bloodweb)
(*This perk has been retired)
Your ties to the otherworldly manifest when your prey attempts to get away.

Whenever a Generator is completed, all Windows and Vault locations within 32 metres of it become blocked for all Survivors for the next Several Seconds.

  • The Auras of the blocked Vault locations are revealed to you for the duration.
Mindbreaker
(unlocked at level 40 in Bloodweb)
(*This perk has been retired)
Your distressing presence drains and weakens your prey.

Whenever a Survivor is repairing a Generator, they suffer from the Exhausted Status Effect.

  • If the Survivor is already Exhausted, their Status Effect’s timer will be paused.
  • The Status Effect lingers for Several Seconds after the Survivor stops repairing.

In addition to its standard perks, The Demogorgon can also use its unique power called Of the Abyss. Here’s how it works:

“The Demogorgon is an unidentified Killer, able to open multiple Portals and traverse between them to cover large distances. Using its Power, Of the Abyss, it can detect any Survivors within a close proximity to the Portals then unleash a leaping attack to inflict damage from a distance.”

What are the best perks for The Demogorgon?

When creating the best build for The Demogorgon, we would personally opt for the following perks to maximise his potential:

Dragon’s Grip – This perk is unique to The Blight

  • After kicking a Generator, for the next 30 seconds, the first Survivor interacting with it will scream, revealing their location for 4 seconds, and suffers from the Exposed Status Effect for 60 seconds. Dragon’s Grip has a cool-down of several seconds.

Oppression – This perk is unique to The Twins

  • Life has been difficult for you, so you will make it difficult for others.
  • When damaging a Generator, up to 3 other random Generators also begin regressing.
  • Triggers a difficult Skill Check if the selected Generators are currently being repaired.
  • Oppression has a cool-down of several seconds.

Jolt – This is a general perk for all killers

  • Your eerie presence charges the air and interferes with technology.
  • When you put a Survivor into the Dying State with your Basic Attack, all Generators within 32 metres of you instantly explode and start regressing.
  • Applies an immediate 8 % Progression penalty.

Pop Goes the Weasel – This perk is unique to The Clown

  • A deep bond with The Entity unlocks great strength. After hooking a Survivor, Pop Goes the Weasel activates for the next several seconds:
  • The next Generator you damage instantly loses 25 % Progression.
  • Regular Generator Regression applies afterwards and Pop Goes the Weasel deactivates.
